As the construction industry becomes increasingly reliant on technology, the BIM Manager’s role is becoming increasingly important.

A BIM Manager is responsible for coordinating the various BIM models created by project teams during the design/construction process.

This can be a complex and challenging task, as each team may be using different BIM software tools with its own unique set of features and quirks.

The BIM Manager must ensure that all teams are able to work together seamlessly, sharing data and resources as needed.

They also work to resolve any BIM coordination issues that may arise during the course of the project.

In order to be successful, BIM managers must be able to effectively communicate with all members of the project team, including architects, engineers, contractors, and facility managers.

To achieve this BIM Managers must develop BIM Execution Plans, coordinate BIM teams, and ensure that BIM deliverables meet the client’s requirements.
