Only the people you invite

Manager, editor, viewer and tender-team roles decide who sees and changes what on each project. On Company you can add roles of your own.

Where is Plannerly's data stored?
In the region your company chooses: the European Union, the United States or Canada. Each region runs on its own systems, with its own databases and file storage, so your projects are never stored with another region's. Your company settings show which region your account uses. Ask about the Company plan to choose yours.
Does anything leave my region?
Your projects - their documents, plans, scope, files and comments - are stored in your region. Two things work across regions. Your sign-in account - your name, email address and how you log in - is managed centrally, so one login works in every region, and a copy is kept in your region. And 3D models are also sent to Autodesk's model service, so they can be viewed and checked in Plannerly. Our data processing agreement sets out how we handle personal data.
Which regions are coming next?
Singapore, Australia and the Middle East are coming. We don't have dates to share yet. If your contracts need one of them, or somewhere else, ask us about it - it helps us decide what comes first.
Can we move our account to another region later?
Yes, on the Company plan. Files uploaded before a move stay in the storage of the region they were first saved in, so if your contracts need everything in one region from day one, choose it before your projects start. Ask about the Company plan.
How are passwords and sign-ins protected?
Every connection to the Plannerly app, its API and this website uses HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as one-way bcrypt hashes, never as text. Sign-in tokens last 10 minutes and renew quietly while you work, sessions end after 30 days without use and after 90 days at most, and resetting your password signs you out everywhere. New accounts confirm their email with a six-digit code. Plannerly login options.
Can we require single sign-on?
Yes, on the Company plan. We can set your email domain so everyone signs in through one provider, such as Microsoft Entra ID or Google, and other ways in are switched off for that domain. Changing the rule signs out anyone who no longer meets it. Using Microsoft Entra ID with Plannerly.
How are our files kept private?
Project files are kept in private storage, not on public addresses. Plannerly opens them through signed links that expire, so a copied link doesn't keep working, and in Plannerly only people with access to the project see its files. Roles and permissions.
Can we see who changed what?
Yes. Every project keeps an activity log of who changed what across Docs, Scope, Verify and Files, and documents keep their version history, so you can show what was agreed and when. How Docs keeps everyone accountable.
