Do I need to complete all the Plannerly courses first?
No. The courses are available and helpful, but they're not a prerequisite. The kickoff call is where we assess where you are and guide you from there. Training materials are available throughout if you need them. Want a refresher first? Start with Level 3, ISO 19650 Expert - every course is free, with a certificate.
What are the requirements to get certified?
You'll complete the ISO 19650 practical assignment inside Plannerly to demonstrate your understanding of the workflow: define the EIR, write the BEP and MIDP, verify the models, then hand over and get acceptance. Every step is explained with guidance and videos, and we cover all of this on your kickoff call. If you've already done this assignment, all you need to do is present your work to us on the certification call.
How long does the whole process take?
Most people certify within a few days to a few weeks, depending on how quickly they work through the assignment tasks. There's no hard deadline: you go at your own pace. The two calls themselves typically take 30-60 minutes each.
What if I get stuck on the assignment?
We're here. The assignment guide, the training and certification articles and support are available throughout, and you can reach out to the team at any point. We're invested in getting you certified, not leaving you to figure it out alone.
Is this a formal ISO body certification?
No. This is a Plannerly-issued Master Practitioner credential. It's a practical, applied certification that proves you can work with ISO 19650 workflows on real projects by presenting the evidence described in the assignment expectations. Can my company pay for this?
