What you'll do

  1. Open Account Settings and the Account notification policy section.
  2. Review Notification types and Delivery methods.
  3. Open Connected apps and block one - for example WhatsApp.
  4. Know the result: no project or person in your account can switch a blocked item back on.

Why it matters

One clear policy at the top, fine-tuned by the people closest to the work. Each project sets its own defaults inside your limits, and everyone can turn things down for themselves. Blocking only stops a notification being sent; allow it again and it resumes. Anything you allow can still be turned down by projects and people.

Common questions

Who can change the account policy?

Account admins.

Can a project turn a blocked notification back on?

No. Account policy is the highest level.
