What you'll do

  1. Open the project's Settings and expand Details.
  2. Type the Project ID and Client Name. Each saves as you go.
  3. Expand Language and choose the Project date format and Project Timezone.
  4. Pick your own Application language - it changes nothing for your teammates.

Why it matters

Headers, exports and SmartFields all read from these details, so change them once and they are right everywhere. One agreed set of project information, set before work starts, is the foundation of good information management.

Common questions

Why can't I change the project details?

You need permission to manage the project. Ask a project manager.

Does changing the client update exports I already made?

No. An export keeps the value it was created with. Create a new version to pick up the change.
