What you'll do

  1. Hover a Scope cell and select Add. That is what the row delivers at this milestone.
  2. Open the task. In Tracking, use Assign team to pick a team and mark it A, accountable.
  3. Use Assign team member to pick the person who signs it off, and mark them R, responsible.
  4. Check the cell: it now shows who is doing it, and in what role.

Why it matters

Without a named owner, the honest answer to who does this is often everyone, which means nobody. One owner per role is responsibility you can point to.

Common questions

Why is a milestone greyed out?

A row can hold only one task per milestone, so milestones that already have one cannot be picked again.

What do R, A, C and I mean?

Responsible does the work, Accountable owns the outcome, Consulted advises, Informed is kept up to date.
