Questions about the free training

Are the courses really free?
Yes. The six self-paced courses are free to take, and each comes with a free, shareable certificate and digital badge. Master Practitioner is different: it's Plannerly's paid credential for proving practical ISO 19650 skills. Start with Level 1.
Do I get a certificate for each course?
Yes. Every free course ends with a shareable certificate and a digital badge for LinkedIn and your CV or resume, with a certificate ID and a link anyone can use to check it. How the certificates and badges work.
How long do the courses take?
They're self-paced, with lessons of about 5 to 10 minutes. Level 1 and Level 2 take about an hour each, Level 3 two to three hours, ISO 19650 for Companies and Digital Troublemaker under an hour each, and BIM Boot Camp about four hours. Master Practitioner is a practical assignment, usually a few days to a few weeks at your own pace.
Who are the courses for?
Anyone in the built environment who wants ISO 19650 delivery to work in practice: BIM coordinators, information managers, project managers, architects, engineers, students and leaders. Beginners are welcome. Teaching? Use the courses with your students.
Do I need experience or software to start?
No. There are no prerequisites and no paid software. You can follow along in the free version of Plannerly: create a free Plannerly app login and practise as you learn, or sign in to the app if you already have one.
How do I enrol?
Most lessons open without signing in, so you can try one first. To save your progress, take the quizzes and earn the certificate, enrol in the course with your free account - create your training account if you don't have one yet. How to enrol, step by step.
Where can I see my courses and certificates?
Your training dashboard shows the courses you're enrolled on, your progress, discussions and comments, and your certificates to download. Can't download a certificate?
Will my progress be saved across devices?
Yes. Once you're signed in, your progress is saved to your account, so you can move between desktop and mobile. Ticks not showing? Make sure you're signed in and enrolled.
Are the courses aligned to ISO 19650?

Should I take the free courses before Master Practitioner?
For most people, yes. The free courses build the knowledge, and Master Practitioner proves you can apply it. Start with Level 3, ISO 19650 Expert. If you already have strong experience, the kickoff call maps your quickest route.

Is Master Practitioner a formal ISO certification?
