Connect your CDE
This video shows how to keep files moving automatically between Plannerly and the systems your project already uses, so nobody downloads, renames and uploads by hand.
What you'll do
- In File Manager, select CDE Connect to see every system you can connect.
- Open Automations and select Create your first automation.
- Choose Incoming or Outgoing, the system and the folder - for example, send approved files to the contractor in Procore.
- Set up both directions if you need to, folder by folder. Then it runs by itself.
Why it matters
Plannerly becomes the one source of truth, shared with every system the team relies on. Synced files also fill matching file requests by name, in every milestone, so deliveries tick themselves off.

Is it two-way?
Each automation runs one way. Set up an incoming and an outgoing one for both directions.
Who can set it up?
People with the Docs management permission. New connections are not available on the Free plan.
