What you'll do

  1. On the project dashboard, select Roles and Permissions.
  2. Open a group, such as File Manager, and switch a permission for one role - for example, off for Viewer.
  3. Select Save and view as role to see the project exactly as a viewer sees it.
  4. Check what changed, then select Exit role preview.

Why it matters

Give everyone full access and mistakes happen; lock everything down and your inbox fills with requests. Clear roles, checked from the other side, keep project information controlled without slowing people down.

Common questions

Can I change what a Manager can do?

No. Manager permissions are fixed.

Can I add my own roles?

On the Company plan you can add as many custom roles as your projects need.
