What you'll do

  1. Open Export, then Create Document, and add the BIM Execution Plan.
  2. Set the Status filter so only the Published sections are included.
  3. Under Signatures, choose who needs to sign and select Create.
  4. Each signer sees Needs your signature and signs with Approve & sign.
  5. Find the PDF in File Manager. For a Word copy, choose Create .docx on the file.

Why it matters

You get a signed, dated BEP without chasing paper, and the record shows who agreed it.

Common questions

Why can't I see Signatures or Create Document?

Exporting needs the Manage Docs permission and adding signers needs the signatories permission. Managers have both by default.

Why can't I create a Word copy?

Create .docx is not included on every plan. An account admin can check Plan and Billing.
