New version? Re-check it against the same requirements

What you'll do

  1. Drop the new version, with the same file name, onto Upload File.
  2. Keep working on the old version while the new one is prepared.
  3. Use the filter to show every task that Needs checking.
  4. Run the check again and the results move to the new version.

Why it matters

Check results belong to the version they were run on. Re-checking every version against the same requirements keeps the standard the same, not only for the first version.

Common questions

Does Plannerly only re-check what changed?

No. Nothing compares elements between versions, so a new version marks every task on that model as needing a check.

What if the new file shows as a separate model?

The file name or extension was different. Rename it to match the original and upload again.
