Lesson 31 of 40

Run the check and see what's missing

This video shows how to find missing and wrong property data across a whole model without opening elements one by one.

What you'll do

  1. Select Check, then Check all tasks.
  2. Watch each card fill in to show how much of the requirement is really in the model.
  3. Expand External Walls to see what is missing, what is wrong and what is right for each requirement.
  4. Select the red count on FireRating and those walls light up in the model.
  5. Open Show Properties and search for Fire to see that the property is not there.

Why it matters

Red means the property is missing, amber means it is there but empty or wrong, and green means correct. You check against the requirements you agreed, not against what somebody remembers.

Common questions

What do red, amber and green mean?

Red: the property is missing. Amber: it is there but empty or wrong. Green: it is correct.

Do I need to open every element?

No. Select a count on the task card and Plannerly shows you just those elements in the model.
