Lesson 39 of 40

What you'll do

  1. Open Settings, then File Manager, then File Manager columns, and select Add custom column.
  2. Name the column and add its values with their abbreviations: In progress, Shared, Published and Archived.
  3. Select Save. Every file has a status you can set, filter and sort by.
  4. In your next project, use Copy from project with Also copy File Manager columns ticked, to reuse the same codes.

Why it matters

Without a status, everyone guesses differently. A column of your own puts the project's agreed codes on every file.

Common questions

Does Plannerly have the ISO 19650 states built in?

No. The built-in Status is for review. You add the container states, or your own suitability codes, as a custom column.

Why are there two Status columns?

The built-in one is for review. Rename one of them in File Manager columns to tell them apart.
