Lesson 33 of 40

Share what failed, and move the work on

This video shows how to get failed checks to the people who can fix them, and how to see who owns each fix.

What you'll do

  1. Click the failing task's status and move it back to Started, for the team that owns it.
  2. Open Actions, then Share. With Private link selected, choose Copy link to link to the Work Package.
  3. Open Charts to shade the whole model by task status.

Why it matters

Finding failures is only half the job. The board and the model show who owns each fix and what is left to do, so nothing waits unnoticed.

Common questions

How do I copy a link to a Work Package?

Open the Work Package, select Actions, then Share, and choose Copy link with Private link selected.

Does a public view show the 3D model?

No. Public views do not load the 3D viewer, so use a private link when people need to see the model.
