Lay out what you deliver

This video shows you how to lay out everything your project delivers as one agreed list in Scope, so every team plans against the same breakdown instead of its own spreadsheet.

What you'll do

  1. In Scope, select Add Row to start the list, then click the name to change it.
  2. Select Add Task Row for each thing you deliver.
  3. Select Add Folder to group rows by discipline, zone or package, and drag rows into place. Undo is on the message if you miss.
  4. Use Create Group on a row's menu when you need a level in between.

Why it matters

One breakdown, agreed up front, becomes the backbone of your delivery plan. Milestones, teams and roles all attach to these rows.

Common questions

Can a row sit inside another row?

No. A folder holds folders, groups and rows, a group holds rows, and a row holds nothing further.

Who can add rows?

Anyone whose role lets them manage Scope items. If the add buttons are missing, ask your project manager.
