Lesson 29 of 40

Choose what you're checking

This video shows how to check one package of work at a time, so real problems do not hide in the noise.

What you'll do

  1. Open Select Work Package, then Create Work Package.
  2. Name it and start with all project tasks.
  3. Use Add Task Filter(s) to narrow it, for example to one team.
  4. Select Add model(s) and add the team's model.
  5. Close the editor: the board shows only those tasks, beside that model.

Why it matters

Check every task against every model and you get thousands of results. A Work Package makes each check small enough to act on: one team, one model, and a board that shows only what that team has to fix. You can keep several and switch between them from the same selector.

Common questions

What is a Work Package?

A saved selection of tasks and models. Verify shows and checks only that selection.

Who can create one?

People with the work package permissions. Managers have them by default; Editors do not, so ask a Manager if you cannot see the button.
