What you'll do

  1. Open Settings, then File Manager, then File Name Standard.
  2. Select Add part for each piece of the name: project, team, discipline, number.
  3. Pick a Separator. The Example shows how names will look.
  4. Select Save. Files show their standard name.

Why it matters

ISO 19650 expects the project to agree how containers are named. Set it here once and the name follows the standard, not whoever uploaded the file. Files then sort sensibly, and an incoming file can be matched to the request for it.

Common questions

Does Plannerly rename my files?

No. It builds a standard name from each file's information and shows it. Your original file name is kept.

Who can change the standard?

Anyone with the Manage Files permission. Everyone else sees it read-only.
